We, the Pastor, officers & members of Grace Temple Missionary Baptist Church, are striving to be the church God is looking for in these last and evil days. We do our best to live the true meaning of our motto, “We Are The Friendly Church That Loves People”.

Deacon’s ministry
The Deacons serves as the Pastor’s spiritual council in matters pertaining to the welfare and work of the ministry.
Trustees ministry
The Trustees are responsible for raising money and managing the tangible asset or resources of the church.
Mission’s ministry
The Mission Ministry is responsible for helping to direct the focus of the church to the outreach into the world’s spiritual needs through the ministry of home and foreign missions.
Sunday School
The Sunday School Ministry is the primary source for Bible study.

Usher ministry
The Usher Ministry maintains order, harmony and reverence during worship service. Assist the Pastor, members and guest as needed.
Choir ministry
The Choir Ministry leads the worship service in song, with the intent of lifting the thoughts, attunes the heart of worshipers.
New Member’s ministry
The New Member’s Ministry greets, educates and obtains information for all new members.
Youth ministry
The Youth Ministry is designed to teach the youth about Jesus. The youth are given guidance, instructions and directions on how to conduct a worship service

Our history
Prior to the Civil War, and until 1866 all local Baptist, both Black and White, belonged to the same church. In 1866, the Black members of the Baptist Church withdrew,
What we do?
Our prayer is we are the people God is looking for in these last and evil days. It’s all about Kingdom building. “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ”. Titus 2:13
